Whiteline's involvement started in May 2004 with preparation for the Dutton Rally - NSW. A successful result has spurred Martin on to compete in further events like the Porsche Mt Buller Sprint, Rally of Tasmania and Dutton Rally Victoria. Here are the current result highlights.

Series
- 1st outright team and co-driver 2005 Dutton Rally - NSW
With the biggest field on record with over 80 entrants, Martin and Simon took 1st place outright for team, 2nd place for lead driver and 1st outright for co-driver. Most individual event times fell dramatically from last year with the Whiteline EVO VIII posting a record 1:06.40 lap at Wakefield Park. Competition is building and Martin was knocked off for first place in teh drivers competition. Team Whiteline lead the tri-state series coming into the Victorian round later this year. Up against some stiffer competition from 50 plus entrants, Martin and Simon held off strong competition from other EVO's, STI's and Porsches to win the inaugural event. This year saw a number of EVO VIII's and VI's competing for the first time. Got to www.duttonrally.com for full results

Rally
First EVO VIII home and only 38 seconds behind the outright winner in an EVO VII. Not a bad effort for a first time entry for car and driver running against 120+ entries including many well known motorsport personalities. For more results details see

Well I would have loved to say that we've won both Dutton Rally's in 2004 but unfortunately not but we got very close.
- 3rd outright team - Whiteline project EVO VIII
- 1st outright co-driver - Simon Arthur
- 14th outright driver - Martin Notaras
By his own admission Martin had just too many errors over the weekend with a mixture of cone faults, jump starts and other penalties. This pushed his points down dramatically affecting the overall team performance.
Both drivers were very happy with the car and the new chassis enhancements. Using a virtually factory engine and no roll cage, they were beaten by cars with relatively big power, full roll cages and a variety of big name motorsport shock absorber systems. The Whiteline shocks just did their job and we're very happy with the performance and longevity.
