Subject: Bathurst Trip...

Hi guys.............

Well the fun is almost over for me - have to go back to full time work next week BUT, here is a copy of a post I have just put up on the MRT forums concerning a trip I did yesterday and today... Self explanatory gentlemen........

"I'm just back from a two day run into the country. Went out to Bathurst to check out the Advans and suspension mods around Mt. Panorama....
mm..mm..mmmmmm Very nice indeed.... The car sits very flat over all surfaces now - absolutely no lift or bounce off line at any speed. Body roll around corners is almost non-existent - certainly the car's limit is way past my ability (or courage). It rained the entire time from Bathurst back home - 2 1/2 hours in everything from small hail to torrential rain and a lot of water crossing the roads to gentle rain and everything in between.

All I can honestly say is that I have never felt as safe in a car in my life. The tyres and the car performed absolutely faultlessly even to the point where I kept going at 110 km/h in the worst rain with reduced visibility but the car never wavered or in all honesty even felt like the road was completely drenched. I have had a WRX and a B4 before this XT Forester and the WRX also displayed similar handling in atrocious conditions but the Forrie felt better tied down - I must admit I believe the modified the suspension helped a lot. All in all a sensational way to test out the mods and tyres - can't wait for another chance to enjoy this amazing car....."

Regards
Ron.
