Project REX IIIP-REX
I
The main parts development program is complete so you can download (right) a copy of the fact sheet showing all the various options. These include swaybars, springs, bracing, alignment aids and of course shock absorbers. These pictures show the latest generation Whiteline height and rate adjustable coil overs. With comprehensive height and rate adjustment, these kits feature an non-inverted mono tube configuration. Unlike many other "converted rally" designs on the market, the shocks are specifically designed for road use and do not require regular maintenance. See the shock product pages for more details. Track testing has been extensive with each upgrade data logged for grip and handling bias. As before, the kits are tuned to work as a package to deliver a guaranteed outcome supported by hard data but the parts can be used alone. We've proven that a Works Pack improved lap times by over 2.5 seconds using standard tyres! These results will appear as part of a major magazine feature reviewing the performance and outcomes. In fact, read about how we do it in Fast 4's. Click on the link on the right to read the Power V Handling write up from the Jan 2004 issue tech feature. "Take two identical-model WRX's. Then, stage by stage, increase one's power output while working the other one's suspension - all to a realistic budget. At the end, which one will lap quicker?" We know the answer to that question and you can read why with all the data available by downloading the data file here . You can also check out a summary of the results in the table below. |
